Xylan 8840

It is food-safe, solvent-borne FEP based nonstick coating for mould release (e.g. tyres and polyurethane moulds). It has an excellent release and good abrasion-resistance properties and operates at temperatures up to 205C (400F). It is used when the food-safe requirement is not an issue. It is widely used in many demanding non stick application from sweet and chocolate moulds, cake trays, to tyre moulds, heat sealing blades, textile drying rollers and even to solve the sticky problems of releasing blown polyurethane foams.
